We’re only a few days removed from launching a new title from the always busy F.C. Shultz. It’s good stuff folks. Come see us at the Joplin Writers’ Faire and pick up a copy, or one of our other titles. We’ll have two more than this time last year. Amazing productivity!
Check out what one Amazon user had to say about our last new title, Lost Soles.
I enjoyed and appreciated this book for its whimsey. You never stop to think about something you pass every day being "art worthy" or having a history. This collection of photos takes a very mundane subject - abandoned/discarded shoes - and turns it into art. The quotes of the people in the area when the photos were taken add a lot to the "story". I enjoyed the book and was impressed with the photos. I appreciate that it helped me look at the ordinary things I pass every day and consider that they can be a form of art and that they, too, have an untold story. I wonder what that story might be.
In a way, that comment could describe F.C.’s poetry; he takes everyday things and observes their extraordinary nature. Here’s another blurb for you.
F.C. Shultz entreats his readers to take a beat and delight in the world. Replete with birdsong and warmed by rising and setting suns, this collection reveals a poet who has grown confident in his voice as he celebrates the quirks, creaks, and caws of all creation.
It’s coming soon, so keep an eye on the Publications and Products page.
Cheers!
